        Career Coaching

Each programme is designed to allow the client to identify their unique personal contribution, to uncover the things that they are most passionate about, to put in place the necessary support and development that is needed so that they can bring their unique contribution powerfully and effectively.

For some clients it is possible to achieve this in their current role or elsewhere in their company. Where this is not appropriate we support the client so that they secure the right opportunity where they are most able to fulfil their potential.

A typical Career Coaching programme follows our four stage Career Coaching framework. This is planned over six months as eight, two hour, face to face individual coaching sessions that are supplemented by telephone coaching as required:

Situation review

  • Life and career review.

  • Resolution and completion of issues arising from the current work situation

      Discovery

Personal capability and preference assessment

Goal setting and preparation

  • Developing career goals that reflect what you want to achieve in life.

  • Understanding the conditions of satisfaction that are essential to your next role

  • Developing a plan that will achieve these aspirations

  • Creating your personal marketing plan

  • Reviewing your marketing materials

      Taking action

  • Implementing your plan and dealing with the issues that arise.

  • Preparing for interviews and important meetings

  • Ongoing review and support

  • Managing the offer and acceptance process so that you get what you really want

  • Setting up for a great start in your new role or for what's next in your existing role

      Programme completion

  • Reviewing what has been achieved.

  • Capturing important learning so that it can be reapplied

  • Programme completion

Every programme is designed to support the needs and circumstances of each client. For some clients it is important to focus on one or two aspects of our Career Coaching framework and for others it is important to work equally in each area. Programmes can also include work in other areas that are important for the client to realise their career aspirations. For example:

  • Personal influence .

  • Interpersonal communication

  • Presentation skills for formal or group situations

  • Planning and organisation

  • Issue resolution

  • Confidence in self expression

  • Achieving an appropriate work / life balance.

  • Mastering stress

  • Nutrition, health and vitality
